International Career Employment Opportunities was started in 1991 to fill a critical need for information on career positions with international programs. Although there were several publications available on "overseas" jobs, none of those publications provided comprehensive information for those individuals pursuing careers with international programs. International Career Employment Opportunities filled this void, and has become an indispensable resource for both job-seekers and employers in the international community.
A key element in the success of this publication has been the ability to get employers to list their new job openings in the newspaper. Employers list their openings here because they have found it is a very effective means of finding qualified candidates. More job openings result in more qualified job seekers using the publication, which in turn leads to more employers listing their vacancies. Because of the demand for this service, we started publishing every week, rather than bi-weekly, and the name was changed to International Career Employment Weekly.
